If yes what would be the rules/regulations? Like if we lost tonight could I give it away after we lost or would I have to give it away before we lost.

Challenges end 5 minutes after results have been posted so that's how long you would have to transfer it to someone on the opposing tribe if you wanted. You can transfer to anyone on your tribe at any time (besides the last hour of a voting window if you want it used during that voting window)

So If our tribe loses tonight, I could give it away to someone on my tribe after the loss up until the final hour of voting? But only give it away to someone on the opposite tribe 5 minutes after the results?

Yes to all of that, except you'd probably want to transfer it a lil before that last hour, obviously, so that it can be used before the deadline. Just to make things clear
