it’s mentioned in s1 but yes for the most part. s3 is my fav season by far though only cause clexa <3 the deaths tho made me sad as HELL. it’s one of the best and worst seasons for that reason... but s7 remains the worse. a total shit show

Well Season 2-3 are iconic because we meet Lexa and get Clexa <3 But I'm still BITTER and SAD about it ksjnfksjdf, especially since I initially started watching becauseee of Clexa (before the deaths), like I came for a good time and then got heartbroken instead sksks

That year was rough I'm pretty sure like ALL my fave lesbian characters were being killed off around the same time in different shows too lmfaooo, that bury your gays trope was STRONG so i was like it's ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

no same cause i was only watching the 100 and twd that year. idk if twd had the lesbians in it or not yet, but i just remember feeling like there was no shows in which the lesbians had a happy ending. it’s literally one always dies, they break up, or the show gets cancelled. it just never works out and it’s annoying as hell. i cant even be shocked that the 100 lost 30% of their viewers the second lexa died bc they queerbaited the living hell out of us

But yeah, there literally were so few shows -- like even my #1 fave show in the world Buffy the Vampire Slayer did my girlies dirty lol it was so rough. And IKR, and on the off chance both of them live, it's usually just a poorly written show to begin with!!

Person of Interest is actually a really good show, but no gays till like later seasons... honestly skipping season 2 is so valid for that show cuz it takes a while for it to get good... BUT I do have to say the writing of Root and Shaw's story arc is immaculate, and at least the death did make sense for the character... like I can't say it came out of nowhere or anything at least, and it's not like she's just gone after that she's still relevant and there's some bittersweetness later on involved so it's definitely not a waste of time to watch and I'd recommend it! But again, it does take a bit to get good so idk lmfao

As for other lesbian centric shows, have you seen the Haunting of Bly Manor? If not, you haveeee to lmao. Literally a beautiful show that would be my #1 to recommend <3 (Hill House too but Bly Manor is gayer) -- Also there's Orphan Black, which I highly highly recommend as well -- Honestly don't get me started I can make a LIST lmfao (Umbrella Academy S2, Wynonna Earp, Harlots, Dare Me, Atypical, One Day at a Time, etc etc etc)
