Morning! I have a super busy day today I am travelling downtown for a special meeting to help get some animals adopted at this like idk what to call it adoption fund raiser?

We are running a little cafe where people can come and meet the animals without cages or anything there’s a cafe for bunny’s one for cats and one for dogs! I’m supervising the rabbits because sometimes they don’t really get along and it can get ugly haha

We have a couple German shepherds, a golden lab, a pittie, and a couple mixes that I’m not really sure what they are. But I hope they all find homes!

The buns are so cute! Getting rabbits to like eachother is a process, but once they bond they are bonded for life. And many buns die after their bond mate dies from a broken heart

For a beginner I like would recommend a lab or a golden retriever as they’re very social and very easy to train, goldens are a bit less chewers tho!

Shedding golden retrievers shed more, because the long hair, but walking they’re pretty equal they’re both dog breeds that like making you happy so they’re very trainable, labs are a bit more mischievous but not by much

ohh.. ill have to look in to try and getting a younger one ! i want to adopt but ive heard pets for adoption are harder to train especially for newbies who are first timers? u agree? thanks for all this info btw .

No worries! Yeah right from baby is easier to train but that doesn’t mean adopting a younger dog can’t work, I had a lab and I adopted her at one year old and she was extremely well behaved, I think it depends on the dog and the personality
